DESCRIPTION
Podere Montese is a completely renovated agriturismo nestled among the green hills of Lunigiana, the land of 100 castles, housed in an ancient Tuscan stone farmhouse. It is surrounded by hectares of cultivated fields, olive groves, pastures, meadows with streams, woods, and a park equipped with a fitness trail scattered with exercise equipment.
The main building comprises an ancient farmhouse hosting four bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, and a large master apartment consisting of a living area with three lounges, a kitchen, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an attic.
The property includes a restaurant with approximately 50 seats and a professional kitchen.
The second building, nestled in an olive grove, houses five double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and independent access. One of these rooms is specifically designed to accommodate people with disabilities.
The third building features a large conference room on the ground floor and two spacious apartments upstairs. One apartment boasts a large terrace overlooking the entire property, leading to a living area with an open kitchen, a double bedroom, and a bathroom. The other apartment includes a spacious living area with an open kitchen, two double bedrooms, and two bathrooms.
Adjacent to this building are a warehouse, a fully equipped conference room for approximately 25 people, and a garage. The property also includes a beautiful swimming pool area with a jacuzzi and a wellness center with a sauna, Turkish bath, and emotional shower. The pool is covered with a telescopic cover, maintaining a controlled climate inside, allowing its use during the shoulder seasons, in the evening hours, and on rainy days.
Completing the property are the stable, barn, and slaughterhouse where cows, donkeys, sheep, chickens, and geese roam freely in spacious pastures.
Bordering the Podere Montese agriturismo property runs the ancient Via Francigena, the famous road used by pilgrims from the Frankish lands to reach Rome. Today, after extensive remodeling and reconstruction of the ancient route, the Via Francigena is annually traversed by hikers and faithful from across Europe, retracing the steps that led our ancestors to the Capital.
